I’m Amit Karn, a software engineer in Kathmandu.

I design and build the systems a product runs on: how its data is shaped, how its services talk to each other, and how it all keeps running. At Zum Ride I joined as a software engineer, designed the core of the platform, and now lead the backend.

I love this work. I’d credit persistence over talent for most of what I’ve built, and I stay with a problem until I’ve found the most logical, efficient way through it.

Outside work I run Lozikit, where I design, build and operate my own projects end to end, and I’m studying for a master’s in data science.

Enclosed are my projects and the places I’ve worked and studied. If any of it is relevant to you, write back.
